Overview

EuroStone Machine and its parent company, Pyramid Supply, Inc., have a team of technicians with many years of experience with the Thibaut range of machines. With more than 500 installations nationwide, our service department is mature and knowledgeable.

Pyramid also maintains inventory of critical parts and/or can help you locate parts locally when required (Thibaut components are generally available in the USA). Along with great experience in installations and repair, our team of tooling specialists can assist you with selecting the most effective tooling solutions for your Thibaut machine.

Tooling

A machine is only as good as the tooling supplied, EuroStone Machine and Pyramid Supply Inc. distributes the NICOLAI brand of CNC stone working tools. These tools have been well proven in terms of quality and economy when used on the equipment we sell. Of course, the Thibaut range of equipment accepts standard tooling from nearly any source as well. The choice is yours.

Normal Repair Service

Current service charges are based on a 4-hour minimum. Overtime or weekend charges may apply if applicable. EuroStone Technicians use genuine factory replacement parts or factory-authorized substitutes.

Air fare, local transportation, rooms and meals are chargeable to the customer.

If you are a member of our Preventive Maintenance Program you receive a discount on parts of 10%, and there are no minimum daily rates.

Preventive Maintenance Program

EuroStone Machine’s Preventive Maintenance Program is a non-emergency maintenance visit scheduled in advance on a periodic basis. This is not intended as an actual repair visit, which would be billed separately. Machine preventive maintenance is often overlooked by many, but has important benefits :

- Decrease catastrophic and costly down-time
- Increase operational efficiency and reliability of your equipment
- Decrease long term repair expenses
- Extend the safe and useful life of your equipment
- Priority scheduling for service and repairs
- A discounted labor rate on ALL service and repair work while a member of the program
- EuroStone Machine will set you up a 1, 2, or 3-time annual visit program by a qualified technician.

Essential Care to Help Prevent Failures

- Lubrication
- Alignment checks
- Cleaning of critical components
- Operating practices, review with operator
- Filtration checks
- Adjustment
- Condition of wiring
- Check for leaks (rotary couplings, vacuum systems, etc)
- Autonomous : review with operator routine maintenance procedures, lubrication, and items which the operator can monitor routinely

Condition Monitoring to Detect Impending Failures

- Bearings
- Motor amps, wiring
- Pressure settings (heads, lines, back-pressure)
- Power check (incoming voltage, transformer inputs/outputs, etc.)
- Check of timer settings, general condition of encoders, contactors, etc.
- Lubrication channels check, lines, lube-packs
- Corrosion
- Belts, drives, rollers, pulleys, rails, seals
- Tool holders
- Look, Listen, Feel, Smell (oil leaks, water leaks, noises, loose components)

Machine History

Our technician(s) will keep a written record of each intervention in order to compare data from previous visits and to monitor deterioration of any single component being checked over time.

Other

Our Technician will notify you in advance of the anticipated schedule date and confirm that you are ready for service. You will need to idle the machine during most of the inspection and control process, and provide an operator when required.

What We Need From You

- Lubrication materials, greases, for each machine
- Machine must, at times, be idled during the inspection
- The machine operator must be on hand when required
- Electrical interlocks, if installed, must be active and maintained
